8 Week On Camera Acting Course
Course Description
We are offering two courses:
Beginner - Intermediate Courses:
For Ages 8 -12
This course focuses on the basics of On Camera acting, from the basics of Acting, to how to conduct oneself on set and actual set filming experience.
Schedule:
Beginner - Intermediate Class is held every Wednesday from 4-6 PM beginning March 4th till April 22nd.
Beginner - Intermediate Courses:
Week 1 – Acting Is Playing Pretend (On Camera!)
Week 2 – Feelings, Faces, and Imagination
Week 3 – Reading a Script Like a Detective
Week 4 – Acting With a Partner
Week 5 – Being Brave: Auditions & Try-Again Skills
Week 6 – Making Our Scene Film-Ready
Week 7 – Practice Filming Day
Week 8 – Professional Film Shoot Day!
Intermediate - Advanced Courses:
For ages 13 - 17
This course focuses on building on existing acting experience, building confidence in technique and ability, and further development with on camera acting experience.
Schedule:
Intermediate - Advance Class is held every Tuesday from 4-7 PM beginning March 3rd till April 21st.

Week 2 – Emotional Access & Personalization
Week 3 – Advanced Script Analysis
Week 4 – Scene Study & Relationship Dynamics
Week 5 – Audition Technique & Redirection
Week 6 – Demo Reel Scene Rehearsal
Week 7 – Pre-Production & Dress Rehearsal
Week 8 – Professional Film Shoot Day

Meet the Teacher - Savannah Ostler
Savannah Ostler is an award-winning filmmaker and actor’s director with extensive experience
working with young performers on camera. She began her career as an actor in Los Angeles
before transitioning into directing, a background that allows her to guide actors with clarity,
empathy, and a deep understanding of performance.

In addition to narrative work, Savannah has directed commercials for both local and national brands and collaborated with leading advertising agencies including Harmon Brothers and Chamber Media. Known as an “actor’s director,” Savannah creates a supportive, professional environment where young actors feel confident, prepared, and challenged. Her teaching emphasizes truthful performances, on-camera technique, and real-world set etiquette—helping students not only improve their craft, but understand how their work translates to the screen.

Savannah has directed multiple feature films, including Twice The Dream, Even In Dreams, and most recently Buster Brooks, and has worked alongside industry professionals from projects such as High School Musical: The Series, Transformers, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Netflix’s One of Us Is Lying, and Little House on the Prairie.
