True to the classic tale, in Victorian London, miserly and cold-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who awakens him to his need to change. That night, Scrooge goes on a journey through time with three spirits: the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, each revealing truths about his life, his choices, and his legacy. As he witnesses the joy and goodness of those who embody the true spirit of Christmas as well as the suffering he's caused, and may yet cause, Scrooge's heart begins to change, not out of fear and shame, but through true remorse and empathy.
