Sewing Fundamentals & Beginner Skills

Meet Juliane, a professional seamstress from Germany who has come to America to share her knowledge of sewing. With an 8 week course, you'll learn as much as you can from threading a sewing machine to changing patterns, to having all your seams line up and more. The final project will culminate in creating an up cycled sweatshirt corset and the skills necessary to continue your sewing journey. We hope you will join in on this sewing adventure.

Some material for the course will be provided, but students will be expected to procure a few tools for their own use: measuring tape, sewing pins, needles, sewing machine and fabric scissors. Recommendations can be provided for these items.
