About the Event
William Shakespeare's striking tragedy, 'Julius Caesar', follows the machinations of a group of conspirators who aim to assassinate a ruler on his rise to Dictatorship in order save their country from Tyranny. First performed in 1599 at The Globe, this pulsing play blasts its echo fearlessly into our day, where themes of political corruption are as urgent as they were over 2,000 years ago.
